What to expect ...

This study tour will start with a border crossing to Italy where we get to know the transnational cooperation partners of the CLLD Interreg Italy Austria project Terra Raetica.

After a drive through the impressive Reschen Pass region, we will visit the Marienberg Monastery, which played an important role within the history of the border triangle Italy, Switzerland and Austria.

Our journey will continue with a visit of Prad where we will get a guided tour of the organic village dairy with the opportunity of tasting local cheese specialties. Building on this culinary experience, we will have lunch at the cultural café Salina in Glurns. This is a project of the Vinschgau Citizens‘ Cooperative which we will have the opportunity to learn more about!

The tour will continue with a walk through the medieval town of Glurns where we get introduced to the Glurns town mill project. To conclude this study tour, we will visit the Lasa Marble Worlds and find out why Lasa marble enjoys global recognition.
