What to expect ...
This studytour starts with a e-bike ride from the center of St. Anton am Arlberg to the Gand mine, where you will learn about the history of mining in the region.
After that, we will gather insights to following energy efficiency initiatives St.Anton am Arlberg: The biomass heating plant of the municipality and the hydroelectric power station. Our E-Bike Tour will then guide us to the Verwall-Valley, where we will have lunch at the Wagnerhütte.
In the afternoon, the local destination management organization and the representative of the Climate Adaption Region will join us for a presentation. Also, we will be introduced to the Landeck volunteer partnership and its rickshaw-project for the Stanzertal senior-citizens centre.
To conclude this tour, we will visit the museum with interesting insights into the impressive history of St. Anton am Arlberg and its cultural heritage.
