What to expect ...

This studytour brings us to the Paznaun valley where our first stop will be the Alpinarium Galtür. This exhibition center was constructed after the avalanche catastrophe back in 1999 and is embedded as memorial into an avalanche protection dam. Here, we well learn about alpine risks and experience what life in the high altitude alpine regions around Galtür is about.

Next, we will visit the project Galtürer Enzner, which is characterized by its cultivated yellow gentian and the show distillery. Here, we will gather insights to innovative product developments with the gentian plant.

At the Huber farm cheese dairy, we will gain an insight into cheese production, taste various award-winning cheese specialties and stay for lunch.
After this culinary experience, we will go for a walk through Ischgl, where we will get introduced to the local destination management organization and the local Climate Adaption Region initiative.
To conclude this study tour, we will use the cable car to get up the mountain where we will have a short hike to lake Pardatscher See. There, you can try your hand at the archery course!
